DISCOVER YOUR TREASURE (Dig Deep Within Yourself)

TO THE BIBLE Ephesians 4:28 CEV “…Be honest and work hard, so you will have something to give to people in need.”

LET’S TALK Have you ever considered how Joseph, a slave and prisoner, became Prime minister in Egypt? Well, one of the things Joseph did was that he used his gifts to serve others, and God promoted him to a level no one would have thought possible at the time.

To succeed in life, you must be doing something that’s of great benefit to people. Pastor Chris always says the first requirement for success is to look out for a human need and reach out to meet that need.

Don’t wait for someone, the government, or the society to give you what you need; make things happen by yourself! Dig deep within you and discover the treasure and talents God has deposited there. Put them to work, and the anointing of the Lord will cause them to produce and multiply. Before long, what you started will grow and you’ll be a source of blessing to others.

God requires an effort on your part; He needs a point of contact for your miracle. Once you put that effort into what He has inspired you to do, His miracle-power comes upon your efforts and His glory shows up in what you do. The effort you put in becomes strengthened by His mighty hand. And that’s what’s most important—God’s touch upon your life that causes His glory to be revealed in what you do.

GO DEEPER Proverbs 16:32 He that is slow to anger is better than the mighty; and he that ruleth his spirit than he that taketh a city.

2 Peter 1:5 And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge; :6 And to knowledge temperance; and to temperance patience; and to patience godliness; :7 And to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness charity. :8 For if these things be in you, and abound, they make you that ye shall neither be barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. :9 But he that lacketh these things is blind, and cannot see afar off, and hath forgotten that he was purged from his old sins.

SPEAK I refuse to let my mind go to sleep! I’m bringing forth good things today from the vast deposits of divine treasures within me to bless my world.
