HE CARES FOR YOU (Your Success Matters To The Lord)
TO THE BIBLE: 3 John 1:2 AMPC “Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in every way and [that your body] may keep well, even as [I know] your soul keeps well and prospers.”
LET’S TALK God’s intention, every time He comes across a poor person, is to make him, and his generations after him, rich and powerful. He’s the expert at crafting “Grass to grace” stories; He loves turning drifters into princes. The Bible says, “He raises up the poor out of the dust and lifts up the needy from the ash heap, to make them sit with nobles and inherit the throne of glory....” (1 Samuel 2:8 AMPC). The Lord Jesus Himself declared, “The Spirit of the Lord [is] upon Me, because He has anointed Me...to preach...(the Gospel) to the poor....” (Luke 4:18 AMPC); He knows that when the poor receives the Gospel, it would catapult him from poverty into superabundance.
He’s saying to you today, “…I am the Lord your God, Who teaches you to profit, Who leads you in the way that you should go” (Isaiah 48:17 AMPC). In essence, He’s the best Person to teach you about success in any endeavour, be it your relationships, a new course at school, or your emotions. He goes further to say, “Oh, that you had hearkened to My commandments (His Word)! Then your peace and prosperity would have been like a flowing river, and your righteousness [the holiness and purity of the nation] like the [abundant] waves of the sea” (Isaiah 48:18 AMPC).
The word “peace” is from the Hebrew word “shalom,” which means “the peace of prosperity and wellbeing (a state of perfect soundness).” If you’ll only listen to Him and let Him teach you, your success, peace, and prosperity would flow endlessly like a river and you’ll never run dry! Then like the Psalmist, you’ll say, “The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want” (Psalm 23:1), Hallelujah!
GO DEEPER 2 Corinthians 8:9 For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though He was rich, yet for your sakes He became poor, that you through His poverty might become rich.
2 Corinthians 9:8 And God is able to make all grace abound toward you, that you, always having all sufficiency in all things, may have an abundance for every good work.
PRAY Dear Father, I thank you for your Word is a lamp to my feet, and a light to my path. My path is as a shining light that shines brighter and brighter to the perfect day. Thank you for teaching me the principles of prosperity in your Word and for making me prosperous, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
